These terms apply to all roadside assistance, mobile repair, and recovery services provided by 24/7 HVR GROUP LTD.

By requesting or accepting our services, customers agree to the terms outlined below.

Call-Out Service

Our standard £60 call-out fee covers dispatching a technician to the customer’s location within approximately 20 miles of one of our operational bases.

The call-out fee includes:

• Technician travel to the location
• Initial roadside inspection and diagnostic assessment
• Minor roadside repairs where possible using basic materials carried by our technicians

The call-out fee does not include major repairs, specialist diagnostics, replacement components, recovery, or extended labour, which may incur additional charges.

Where possible, customers will be informed of any additional costs before work continues.

Travel Charges

The standard call-out fee covers locations within approximately 20 miles of our operational bases.

For locations outside the 20 mile radius, an additional £1.50 per mile charge will apply.

Mileage is calculated from the nearest operational base to the job location and the return journey back to the base.

Distances are calculated using standard GPS route mapping and may vary slightly depending on route availability and road conditions.

Payment

To ensure fast response times and reduce cancelled call-outs, payment for the call-out service is required before a technician is dispatched.

We accept the following payment methods:

• Debit card
• Credit card
• Bank transfer

All payments are processed securely.

Customers are protected under UK consumer legislation including:

• Consumer Rights Act 2015
• Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

These regulations ensure services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

Parts and Materials INCLUDED IN THE CALL OUT COST.

Our technicians carry a range of basic roadside repair materials and components to help resolve common faults quickly where possible.

Items typically carried include:

• Blade fuses and mini fuses
• Electrical connectors and wiring terminals
• Wiring repair materials
• Hose clips and pipe joiners
• Vacuum and breather pipe repair materials
• Cable ties and securing components
• Electrical tape and heat shrink
• Small nuts, bolts and fixings
• Temporary pipe repair materials
• Basic bulbs (subject to availability)

These materials are used for minor roadside repairs or temporary fixes where appropriate.

Replacement Parts

If replacement components are required that are not carried by our technicians, the cost of parts and any additional labour will be quoted and approved by the customer before work continues.

Parts may need to be sourced from third party suppliers depending on availability.

Parts Warranty

Any replacement parts supplied by 24/7 HVR GROUP LTD are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only, where applicable.

We do not manufacture parts and therefore cannot provide additional warranties beyond those supplied by the manufacturer.

Labour relating to the installation of parts may not be covered under manufacturer warranties.

Diagnostics

Our technicians will make every reasonable effort to diagnose vehicle faults accurately at the roadside.

However, some faults may require:

• Further investigation
• Specialist diagnostic equipment
• Additional labour time
• Workshop inspection

In these situations we will advise the customer of the available options.

Customer Authorisation

No additional repairs, labour, parts, or services will be carried out without the customer’s approval.

Customers will be informed of any additional costs before work proceeds.

Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply in certain circumstances including but not limited to:

• Locations outside the standard call-out radius
• Extended diagnostic time
• Additional labour beyond the initial inspection
• Replacement parts or specialist components
• Vehicle recovery where roadside repair is not possible
• After-hours or high-priority call-outs in certain locations

OUT OF HOURS CHARGE 7PM TO 7AM EXTRA CHARGE OF £20

Where possible, all additional charges will be explained before work continues.

Cancellation

If a technician has already been dispatched and the job is cancelled, the call-out fee may still apply.

This is because technician time, travel and resources have already been allocated to the job.

Non-Payment

Payment for services must be made upon completion of the job unless agreed otherwise.

Failure to pay for services provided may result in recovery of outstanding balances through debt recovery procedures or legal action where necessary.

Safety and Working Conditions

Our technicians will only carry out repairs where it is safe and practical to do so.

If a working environment is considered unsafe, dangerous, or unsuitable for roadside repairs, the technician may refuse to carry out work until it is safe.

Roadside Repair Limitations

While we aim to resolve as many breakdowns as possible at the roadside, some repairs may not be safe or possible outside of a workshop environment.

In these cases, recovery or alternative repair options may be recommended.

Vehicle Condition Disclaimer

Vehicles may have pre-existing faults, wear, or hidden mechanical issues that are not immediately visible during roadside inspection.

While our technicians will make every reasonable effort to diagnose and repair faults, 24/7 HVR GROUP LTD cannot be held responsible for underlying mechanical issues, component failures, or faults that occur after a roadside repair due to existing vehicle conditions.

Temporary roadside repairs may be carried out to allow the vehicle to continue safely for a short distance or to reach a workshop. These repairs should not always be considered permanent fixes.

Customers are responsible for arranging further inspection or repair where advised by the technician.

Abandoned Vehicles

Vehicles left unattended after recovery or repair arrangements may be subject to storage or relocation charges if further assistance is required.
